This was so much better than when i found out. I was 17 at the first ultrasound with my mom and the ultrasound tech hopped up said "the doctor will want to be in here for this" my mom and i start freaking out thinking theres something wrong. Then the tech and doc come back and ask that same question "do twins run in your family?" My mom was adopted so im like uhhhhhh no idea lol

Congrats! It's such exciting news! I'm also having twins - di/di. Currently 28 weeks preggos. You should defo check if twins run in the fam (womens side), i thought the same that they didn't, but it turned out my grandma had two sets of twins(sadly died at birth), but yeah. And also on my father's side, his sister i think is a twin and has twins. (although the gene is carried from the mother's side)❤

My daughter found out she was having identical twins at her 3rd ultrasound. They only assumed one because their heartbeats were in sync and they were laying on top of each other so they couldnt see the other one. She had my grandsons 11 days after my birthday and i was the first to see them(she had to have an emergency csection about 3 weeks early) when they were born and they are amazing!!
